Ingredients (for 8 servings)

Chicken liver - 500 gr

Milk - 200 ml

Eggs - 3 pcs.

Sunflower oil - 50 ml + 2 tablespoons for frying

Flour - 160 gr

Carrots - 200 gr

Onions - 150 gr

Walnuts (optional) - 50 g

Mayonnaise - 300 ml

Salt - 1/2 tsp.

Mayonnaise (thick) - 100 ml (to taste)

Fresh parsley - 2-3 sprigs (to taste

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Peel onion and carrot, wash and dry.

We sift the flour.

Toast the walnuts in an oven preheated to 100 degrees until brown (about 15 minutes). We cool the nuts and chop them to the desired degree.

From the liver, if possible, remove the membranes. The liver is washed and chopped in the bowl of a blender with the attachment "knife"

Put the liver in a bowl and add 50 ml. of vegetable oil and the eggs.

Add 100 ml of milk and flour.

Then stir it. To make the mass more homogeneous, beat it with an immersion blender.

Add remaining milk, salt and mix.

The batter for liver pancakes is ready.

Prepare stuffing. To do this finely chop the onion, and grate carrots on a medium or coarse grater.

On a heated frying pan with vegetable oil we lay the onion and carrot.

Fry for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring. Let cool.

I fried the pancakes in a non-stick pan, it can not be oiled. I will immediately give the pancakes the same size and shape, using a cooking ring (ring diameter - 15 cm).

Pour about 2 tablespoons of batter into the pan. Fry the pancakes for 2 to 4 minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned.

I got 12 pancakes from the specified amount of products.

Combine mayonnaise with cooled carrots and onions.

Add chopped walnuts.

Stir. Filling is ready.

Grease the pancake stuffing.

Put another pancake on it.

Thus collect the whole cake.

Grease the top pancake with mayonnaise or, if you wish, decorate the cake with thick mayonnaise with a pastry bag with a shaped nozzle.

Wash and dry the parsley and finely chop it.

Sprinkle the cake with the chopped parsley and leave in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Snack liver cake with carrots and nuts is ready.

Slice the cake into portions and serve as a cold appetizer.
