Meat pancakes with kefir and oatmeal

Recipe photo: Meat pancakes with oatmeal and kefir These delicious, golden-crusted pancakes are made with minced meat and oat flakes. Kefir is also added to the mince, which helps the oat flakes to swell, which makes the finished meat fritters fluffy and tender. Meat pancakes in this recipe are very simple and taste like cutlets, but much more economical! Even kitchen novices can master this recipe.

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

Ground meat (pork) - 300 gr

Kefir - 150 ml

Oat flakes - 50 g

Egg - 1 egg

Garlic (large) - 1 clove

Baking soda - 1/3 spoon

Nutmeg ground - 2 pinches

Salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Sunflower oil - 60 m

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

I used minced pork, but you can make these meat pancakes from any minced meat of your choice: chicken, turkey, beef or mixed.

Nutmeg can be used ground or take a nutmeg and grate the required amount on a fine grater.

Pour the kefir into a bowl.

Pour oatmeal into the kefir.

Stir, add baking soda and stir again.

Pour the minced meat into the kefir and oatmeal mixture.

Add egg.

Peel and crush garlic.

Add crushed garlic to the minced meat.

Add nutmeg, salt, ground black pepper.

Thoroughly mix minced meat with a spoon and leave it for 20 minutes at room temperature.

After 20 minutes heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. Using a tablespoon, place the minced meat in the frying pan in the form of flat round or oval-shaped tortillas.

Fry meat pancakes over moderate heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

When ready, place the fritters on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil, and meanwhile fry another batch.

I made 12 meat pancakes using the amount of products listed.

Meat pancakes on kefir with oat flakes can be served to the table. They are good both hot and cold.
