So the dish will acquire a richer flavor, and the stuffing will have extra time to cook.

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

Potatoes - 700 gr (6-7 pcs.)

Champignons - 150 g (3-4 pcs.)

Stuffed pork - 100 g

Hard cheese - 70 g

Onions - 60 gr (1 pc)

Egg - 1 pc

Sour cream - 3 tbsp.

Dried garlic - 0,5 tsp.

Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons

Ground black pepper - to taste

Salt - to tast

Prepare all the necessary products.

Stuffing can be used pork, beef or mixed.

Wipe the mushrooms with a damp kitchen towel and cut into small cubes.

In the minced meat add a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Peel potatoes from their skin. Grate raw potatoes on a fine grater.

Chop the peeled onion coarsely and combine in the bowl of a blender with the egg, 1 tsp. salt, ground black pepper and dried garlic. Blend until smooth.

Squeeze the potatoes to remove excess liquid. Add the egg and onion mixture and spices to the potatoes. Stir to combine.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place 1 tbsp of potato mixture in it. Use the back of a spoon to flatten the potatoes to form flat dumplings.

In the middle of each potato chip, place 1 tsp. of ground pork with the spices.

Place some chopped mushrooms on top of the stuffing.

Place a little potato mixture on top so that the filling is completely covered. Fry the potatoes for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.

Gently flip the potato dumplings to the other side and fry for another 4 minutes.

Place the fried potato pancakes in a baking dish and fry the next batch (I only had 8).

Turn the oven up to 170 degrees.

Brush the pancakes with sour cream. Spread half of the remaining mushrooms between the pancakes.

Grate hard cheese on top.

Place the second portion of the fried doughnuts and the remaining mushrooms. Brush with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake the pancakes in a preheated 170 degree oven for 20 minutes. During this time, the sour cream will soak into the potatoes and the cheese will melt.
