Thick pancakes with sour cream

Recipe picture: Thick pancakes with sour cream If you try these thick pancakes, you won't know it's an ordinary pancake made in just a few minutes in a pan. The porous and fluffy crumb is more like a biscuit or a cake. Thick pancakes on sour cream turn out very tasty, tender and beautiful.

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Flour - 160 gr

Sour cream - 130 gr

Milk - 100 ml

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Baking powder - 2 tsp.

Sugar - 30 gr

Salt - pinch

Vegetable oil (for frying) - 1 tsp

The necessary products for two pancakes.

In a large container put sugar, salt and baking powder.

Stir.

Add milk, sour cream and eggs.

Mix with a mixer until homogeneous.

Then add sifted flour.

Then mix with a whisk until homogeneous.

The dough turns out medium thick.

Grease a frying pan with oil. The diameter of the bottom of my frying pan is 16 cm. The batter is divided into two equal parts, and one part is poured onto the heated frying pan.

On the lowest heat fry the pancake until there are holes and browning. It will take about five minutes.

Turn the pancake on the other side, cover and continue to fry on low heat 3-4 minutes more, until browned. Cook the second pancake in the same way.

Ready pancakes we put on a plate and serve.

We make a cup of tea, put our favorite jam or honey in a bowl and enjoy our delicious ruddy pancakes!
