Fried minced chicken fritters with kefir

Recipe photo: Fritters with ground chicken in kefir Minced chicken fritters are juicier and more tender if you add kefir. In the finished dish kefir is not felt, but the taste becomes more interesting. Flour and egg combine all the ingredients, and garlic and seasoning give a nice flavor.

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

Chicken stuffing - 250 g

Kefir 2,5 % fat - 250 ml

Flour - 140 g (slightly more than 1 cup of 200 ml)

Onions - 75 gr (1 small onion)

Garlic - 5 gr (1 clove)

Egg - 1 egg

Baking powder - 2 gr (2/3 teaspoon)

Salt - 1/2 tsp. (to taste)

Seasoning for meat - 1/2 tsp.

Vegetable oil - 50 ml (3 tablespoons)

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Use kefir of any fat content, the main thing is that it must be cold.

Adjust the amount of garlic and spices to your taste.

Peel garlic and onion. Cut onion into small cubes. Grate the garlic with a fine grater or pass it through the press.

Add garlic and onion to the minced chicken. Stir it up.

In a bowl beat the egg. Stir to mix.

Add the cold kefir from the fridge. Stir to mix.

Stir in sifted flour. Stir in sifted flour.

Add salt, baking powder and meat seasoning. Stir to combine. Makes a dough like pancakes.

Heat a frying pan with oil and use a tablespoon to place portions of the stuffing. Cover the pan with a lid and fry the fritters over low to medium heat until crispy on one side, about 3 to 4 minutes.

Turn the pancakes over and continue frying for another 3-4 minutes (you can do it without the lid).

Place the fried fritters on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Fry another batch in the same way.

Minced chicken fritters in kefir are ready. They can be served on their own, supplemented with sauce, or with any side dish from vegetables or cereals.

Bon appetit!
