Fritters with crab sticks and cheese

Recipe photo: Fritters with crab sticks and cheese Amazing kefir pancakes with a wonderful aroma of spices and orange zest! Thin, soft, sweet... Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger make up the spicy bouquet, but you can adjust the spices to your liking. These pancakes can even be served without toppings, because they are delicious on their own!

Ingredients (for 3 servings)

Crab Sticks - 200 g

Hard cheese - 80 g

Sour cream (15 % fat content) - 100 g

Egg - 1 egg (large or 2 small)

Flour - 40 g

Vegetable oil (for frying) - 60 ml

Salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use one large egg or two small eggs.

Clean the crab sticks from the wrapping and cut into small pieces (first cut each stick lengthwise into several strips, and then across).

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.

Combine the crab sticks and cheese in one bowl.

Add the egg, sour cream, flour, salt and ground black pepper.

Mix all ingredients until homogeneous - the dough is ready.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and use a tablespoon to pour the crab-cheese batter into it in the form of small flat tortillas, using 1 tablespoon of the mixture with a slide for one fritter.

Fry the crab and cheese fritters over medium-high heat on each side for 2 minutes, until crispy.

Transfer the fried fritters to a plate.

Fry all the fritters in the same manner. I made 10 in all.

The crab sticks and cheese fritters are ready.

If desired, garnish the fritters with fresh herbs and serve.

These fritters can be served hot, warm or cold.

Bon appetit!
