Ingredients (for 4 servings)

Wheat flour - 250 g

Milk - 200 ml

Egg - 1 egg

Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons

Lemon (for juice) - 1/4 button.

Chia seeds - 3 tablespoons

Sugar - 2 tbsp.

Leavening agent - 1,5 teaspoon

Citric acid - a pinch

Salt - 1/2 tsp.

Jam/jam/sour cream - 2-3 tbsp

Prepare the products according to the list.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, citric acid, chia seeds and sugar in a bowl. Thoroughly mix.

Add the egg and milk. Again, mix thoroughly.

Add vegetable oil. Squeeze out about 1 tbsp. juice from the lemon and place in a bowl.

Heat a dry frying pan without oil over low heat. Spoon the batter into the pan about 1 to 2 tablespoons at a time, forming pancakes.

Fry the pancakes over low heat for about 2-3 minutes, on each side, until brown.

The flavorful lemon chia seed pancakes are ready. Serve the pancakes with jam, jam or sour cream, if desired.
