Oatmeal pancake with apples (in the oven)

Recipe photo: Oatmeal pancake with apples (in the oven) An unusual quick breakfast, reminiscent of apple pie - an oatmeal pancake with caramelized apples, baked in the oven. Same delicate, juicy apple filling, but instead of dough, it's a lighter, easier-to-make mixture of oatmeal, eggs, and milk. Quick, hearty and very tasty! Try it!

Prepare the foods according to the list.

For cooking, use a pan with a diameter of 24-26 cm with a removable or metal handle, which allows you to put the pan in the oven.

This original oatmeal pancake with apples cooks rather quickly, so it is best to preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Wash, dry, and peel the apples from their peels and seeds. Slice the apples into apple slices about 0.5-0.7 cm thick.

Increase the heat in a frying pan to low. Cut the butter into small thin slices and place half of it in the pan. Top with apple slices in a single layer. Add the remaining butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Cover the pan with the lid and cook the apples over low heat for about 5 minutes, until soft.

Grind the oat flakes in the bowl of a blender until smooth. If you want the texture of the pancake to be more interesting, heterogeneous and crunchy, and the pieces of oatmeal to be better felt - you can grind the flakes not too hard or just chop them with a knife to crumble on a cutting board.

In a deep bowl, combine the crushed oat flakes, milk and eggs.

Mix thoroughly, until smooth.

Pour the resulting batter into the pan over the stewed apples.

Send the pan to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, until the mixture has set and the topping is browned.

A juicy and tender oatmeal pancake with apples baked in the oven is ready. Carefully transfer it to a dish or plate. Oatmeal pancake is practically unsweetened, if you want to increase the sweetness, sprinkle it with powdered sugar or smear it with jam, jam or honey.
