Apple-oatmeal scones with raisins (in the oven)

The dough is not thick; it is kneaded and spoon-fed on a baking tray. Bake oatmeal scones with apples in the oven quickly.  


Oat flakes - 100 g

Apples - 320 g

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Raisins - 120 g

Sugar - 100 g

Flour - 150 gr (1 cup of 250 ml)

Soda - 0,5 tsp.

Salt - 1 pinch

Vegetable oil (for preparing forms) - 15 m

Prepare the necessary products.

Pour oat flakes into a pan, pour 200-250 ml of hot water.

Cook oatmeal until tender according to the instructions on your cereal packaging (I cooked 7 minutes after boiling water). The water must be completely absorbed.

Leave the cooked porridge to cool.

Raisins are washed, we pour boiling water and leave for 15-20 minutes. After that, we drain the water, and dry the raisins on a paper towel.

In a bowl we pour cooled oatmeal porridge (ready oatmeal should be 250 g).

Apples are washed, cleaned of stems and seeds. Grate them on a coarse grater into a bowl with porridge.

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

In a separate container combine the eggs and sugar.

Stir with a whisk or mixer.

Pour the egg mixture into a bowl with oatmeal and apples. Then we add salt and baking soda.

Stir the ingredients - the baking soda will react with the apple acid and begin to foam.

Add raisins.

Stir everything again.

Then add sifted flour.

Stir. The dough turns out medium thick, holding its shape by filling with a spoon.

Layer the baking tray with parchment and grease with vegetable oil.

With a tablespoon pour the dough on the baking tray, using for one cake about a spoon and a half.

Place the tray with the dough pieces in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Try not to overcook the scones, so that they do not become dry.
