Chopped liver pancakes

All you need to do is chop chicken liver with a knife, add onion and garlic for juiciness and flavor, and don't forget the flour and eggs so the pancakes don't fall apart while frying. Due to the fact that the liver is chopped, the pancakes are very juicy and tender.  

Ingredients (for 5 servings)

Chicken liver - 500 g

Onions - 150 gr (1 unit)

Garlic - 5 gr (1 clove)

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Flour - 60 g (2 tablespoons with a spoonful)

Salt - 0,5 tsp (to taste)

Ground black pepper - 1 pinch

Vegetable oil - 30 ml (2 tablespoons

Prepare all the ingredients.

To make the chicken liver easier to cut, put it in the freezer for 15-25 minutes before cooking.

Clean the chicken liver of veins, rinse and dry it with a paper towel. Cut the liver into small pieces.

Peel onion and garlic, cut into small pieces. Add both ingredients to the bowl with the liver. Add cubes of onion and garlic.

Then mix in the eggs. Stir in the eggs.

Add flour, salt and pepper. Stir everything well again.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Spoon a tablespoonful of liver mass into the pan, shaping it into a flatbread. Cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Fry the next batch in the same manner.

Chopped liver pancakes are ready. They can be eaten not only warm but also cold.

Fritters can be served as a separate dish with your favorite sauce, fresh vegetables or herbs.
