Fritters with smoked sausage on kefir

Photos for the recipe: Fritters with smoked sausage on kefir Fluffy, chunky kefir pancakes with bits of smoked sausage are perfect for snacking. The fritters are easy to make, so you can make these "sausage patties" right in the morning and snack on them throughout the day. Simply and delicious!

Products (for 5 servings)

Kefir 2,5 % - 230 ml

Smoked or semi-smoked sausage - 130 g

Egg - 1 egg

Flour - 200 gr

Baking soda - 0,5 tsp.

Sugar - 1 tsp.

Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Sunflower oil - 70 m

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Pour the kefir into a bowl without metallic elements or patterns and warm it gently in the microwave until warm.

Pour salt, sugar and baking soda into the kefir. Stir with a whisk. Immediately kefir will foam and increase in volume.

Into kefir beat the egg, mix thoroughly, until the egg has separated.

Then sift flour into a bowl with the kefir and egg mixture.

Knead the dough without lumps. The consistency is the same as for any other pancakes, thick.

Free smoked or semi-smoked sausage from the casing, cut into small cubes.

Place sliced sausage in batter.

Stir to mix.

Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan and with a tablespoon pour the batter into it in the form of small flat round flat cakes - pancakes.

Fry the fritters under a lid on a low heat for 3 minutes. When the surface of the fritters has seized, remove the lid, and flip the fritters over.

Cover the pan again and fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes more over low heat.

Prepare pancakes of all the dough in this way. I got 10 pieces.

Kefir pancakes with sausage are ready. Serve these pancakes hot, warm (they are especially good!) or cold, preferably with sour cream.

Bon appetit
