Products

Ham - 100 g

Kefir 2,5% - 200 ml

Wheat flour - 180 g (1 cup of 250 ml with a slide)

Egg - 1 pc.

Soda - 1/2 tsp.

9% vinegar - 1 tsp.

Salt - 1/3 tsp.

Sugar - pinch

Refined oil (for frying) - 4-5 tbsp (60-90 gr

Prepare the necessary products. I got 18 small pancakes from the specified amount.

In a deep bowl combine the egg, salt and sugar. Stir.

Lightly heat the kefir in a microwave oven at minimum power or in a saucepan at minimum heat.

We pour kefir into a bowl with egg mixture. Stir.

In a separate small container mix baking soda and vinegar. The mixture will begin to foam - this is normal. Pour the baking soda, carbonated with vinegar, into a bowl with the egg and kefir mixture. Stir.

We cut the ham in small pieces and also send to the bowl.

Again we mix.

In portions, mixing each time, pour flour through a fine sieve.

Carefully knead the dough until homogeneous and leave on the table for about 10-15 minutes.

Heat 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Spoon about 1 to 2 tablespoons of dough into the pan, forming small pancakes. Before each portion of dough dip a spoon in cold water, so that the dough easily slides off the spoon into the pan.

Cover and fry the fritters over medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Fry the rest of the fritters in the same way, adding vegetable oil to the pan as needed.

Place the finished fritters on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil.

Buttermilk pancakes with ham are ready.
