Recipe photo: Thin pancakes with sparkling mineral water (without milk and eggs) Make these elastic, thin pancakes with sparkling mineral water for breakfast! The pancake batter contains no dairy products or eggs, but the taste of these thin, lean pancakes is just as good as the classic ones. And the small holes make the appearance of pancakes very interesting. A simple recipe that is definitely worth taking note of!

Ingredients (for 3 servings)

Wheat flour - 300 gr

Strongly carbonated mineral water - 700 ml

Vegetable oil - 60 ml + for greasing pans

Sugar - 30 gr

Salt - 1/2 tsp

Prepare the necessary products.

Sift the flour beforehand.

Combine the flour, salt and sugar in a deep bowl. Stir it.

Pour half of the total volume of carbonated water (350 ml). Stir until smooth.

Pour in the remaining carbonated water. Stir until the dough becomes fluid but still maintains its homogeneity.

Add the vegetable oil and stir to combine.

Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat over medium-high heat. Pour approximately a ladleful of batter into the skillet and spread it across the bottom, gently tilting the skillet sideways. Fry the pancake for about 40-60 seconds on each side, until lightly browned.

Fry the rest of the pancakes in exactly the same way.

Stack the fried pancakes, where they will be softened by their own heat and become more tender.

Lenten pancakes with mineral water are ready!

Bon appetit
