Fritters with yogurt

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Rich yogurt - 250 g

Egg - 1 egg

Flour - 150 gr

Soda - 3 gr

sugar - 10 gr

Salt - 3 gr

Vegetable oil (for frying) - 30 m

Prepare all the ingredients.

Thick yogurt of a thick consistency is fine, such as Greek yogurt from the supermarket. (Homemade yogurt is also suitable.)

Pour the yogurt and egg into a deep bowl and whisk with a hand whisk. You can use a mixer on low speed.

Stir in salt and sugar. Adjust the amount of these ingredients to your liking.

Sift the flour so that it becomes airy. In several steps, add flour to the liquid ingredients, after each addition stirring with a whisk so that there are no lumps.

Pour in the baking soda and mix thoroughly. The consistency of the dough is thick and a little loose. Leave it in the kitchen at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Use a tablespoon to place portions of the batter to form oval pancakes. Cook on a low heat for about 3-4 minutes, possibly under a lid.

Once bubbles form on the surface, flip the pancakes over. Continue to fry on low heat for another 2-3 minutes, until crispy.

Fry all the pancakes in the same way.

Fluffy fritters with yogurt are ready, serve at once - warm fritters are the most delicious.

As a sweet additive perfectly suitable jam, condensed milk, honey. You can serve with sour cream.
