Green onion and egg fritters
Ingredients (for 3 servings)
Green onions - 200 g
Eggs - 2 units
Flour - 70 g
Salt - to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - 40 m
Prepare all the ingredients.
Peel the onions (if necessary) and rinse them under cold running water. Dry the onion with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Slice the onion into small pieces and transfer to a deep bowl.
Whisk in the eggs. Taste and season with salt and ground black pepper. Stir well.
Stir in sifted flour. Stir to combine. Allow to stand for 5-7 minutes.
The dough is of medium consistency.
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil.
Spoon small portions of dough into the pan, forming pancakes of desired size.
Fry on a low-medium heat without a lid for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until crispy.
Place the fritters on a paper towel to soak up any excess oil. I made 9 pancakes.
Green onion and egg fritters are ready.
They can be served hot or cold with sour cream or other sauce and a salad of fresh vegetables.
