Sausages in a potato "coat

Photos for the recipe: Sausages in potato "coat An unusual breakfast - fried sausages in a ruddy cheese and potato "coat". Quite simple products, a little time to prepare - and a delicious, hearty and incredibly tasty dish is already on the table!

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Potatoes - 350 gr (2 pcs.)

Eggs - 2 units.

Sausages - 2 pcs.

Toasted (or firm) cheese - 50 g (4 slices)

Salt - to taste

Vegetable oil (for frying) - 1 tbsp

Prepare the products according to the list.

You can use any sausage to your liking.

If desired, the toasted cheese can be replaced by regular hard cheese.

Peel potatoes and grate them on a fine grater. Lightly sprinkle with salt and mix.

We transfer the grated potatoes to a sieve, place over a bowl and leave for about 5 minutes.

Sausages peel from the factory shell and cut crosswise along the length.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, lay out the sausages and fry over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side.

Then transfer sausages to a plate.

Combine eggs and salt in a bowl. Whisk with a fork.

Squeeze out the excess liquid from the grated potatoes and divide them in two parts. Half of the potatoes we put into a pan and distribute in a thin layer on the bottom.

Pour half of the egg mixture on top and fry over low heat for about 5 minutes, until the egg has set and the bottom is nicely browned.

Then place 2 slices of cheese and a sausage on the potato patty.

Carefully roll up the flatbread with a spatula so that the cheese and sausage stuffing is inside.

In the same way we assemble and fry the second roll with stuffing.

Unusual sausages in a cheese and potato "coat" are ready.
