Zucchini caviar fritters

Recipe photo: Fritters with squash caviar Not many people know that zucchini caviar can be used in such an original way - to make fritters out of it! So if the season for fresh zucchini hasn't yet arrived and suddenly you have a jar of zucchini caviar, use this recipe for quick zucchini fritters. Zucchini caviar fritters are puffy, tender, flavorful and very tasty!

Products

Zucchini caviar - 450 g

Egg - 1 egg

Flour - 110 g

Semolina - 30 gr

Bread crumbs - 30 gr

Soda - 1/4 tsp.

Citric acid - 1/6 teaspoon

Fresh dill - 8-9 sprigs (30 gr)

Salt - to taste

Italian herbs - 1/2 tsp.

Vegetable oil (for frying) - 2-3 tablespoons (30-45 ml

Prepare all the necessary products.

Zucchini caviar in a bowl.

Finely chop the dill and add to the bowl with the caviar.

Also add semolina, breadcrumbs, egg, baking soda, Italian herbs, citric acid and salt to taste.

Mix until homogeneous.

Then add flour.

Stir again.

Heat a pan with vegetable oil (20 ml) and pour there about 1 tbsp. of zucchini mixture, forming pancakes.

Cover the pan with a lid and fry the fritters on medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until browned.

Then flip the pancakes and fry under a lid for 2-3 minutes more, until browned on the other side.

In batches fry all the fritters, adding vegetable oil as necessary.

Put zucchini caviar fritters on a plate and serve.
